Ja Rule Pleads Guilty to to Gun Charge

This rapper will need to call upon all the surviving skills about which he's rapped over the years, as MTV confirms that Ja Rule has pleaded guilty to attempted criminal possession of a weapon. He'll likely serve two years in jail for the crime.

The artist was arrested in New York City on the same July 2007 evening as Lil Wayne. Cops allegedly found a loaded semiautomatic gun in his car.

Ja Rule will be officially sentenced in February, but he can keep his head high. At least there will be a strip joint party in his honor as soon as he's free.
